For Children!

We believe the body of Christ must act upon Proverbs 22:6 - "Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it." We are also empowered by the words of Christ himself when he said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." (Matthew 19:14).
Below is a description of our classes and teachers:

PreSchool Bible Community
The babies up to age 2
meet in the nursery and are under the supervision of dedicated volunteers.
The preschoolers (ages 3 to 5)
meet with Danielle Hardy in their own room & assisted by Terina Marconi. There they sing, enjoy Bible activities, & stories.
Elementary Bible Community
Kindergarten thru 5th grade
start out at 9:20AM each Sunday with Lynn Talbot for an opening and worship time. They worship in song, have prayer and praise time, hear about the missions project they are collecting for as well as other missionary kids. They then go to class as follows:

Kindergarten and 1st graders
go with Jillian Best and Pam McIntosh,
- 2nd and 3rd graders are taught by Bobbie Jo Simcox.
- 4th and 5th graders are instructed by Marion Conn and Scott Fotorny.
The K-1st Grades have lessons based on the Bible In Life (David C. Cook) curriculum and they also include scripture memory work, sharing and praying, skits and all sorts of interesting and important things.
Childrens Church
Big Woods provides a Childrens Church that is led by Yvonne Butville that takes place during the second service for children ages 3-6.
